As I was driving south on Highway 101 this dramatic moment blossomed before me. I quickly drove the short distance to the beach access and grabbed my camera.
In my opinion rainbows are particularly challenging to paint. They usually look over painted to me. This large oil was painted from those photographs on Clatsop Beach.
