I especially enjoy the intelligence and antics of ravens and crows. The inspiration for this watercolor struck when sunlight fell on wet fall leaves and the distant mist veiled the forest beyond. These leaves were like bright ornaments hanging onto the branch as long as possible before leaving autumn behind.
