Mother Load

On just the right wind direction, the treasures of the sea are blown onshore. Most locals have a little beach comber deep in their bones and you can always tell them by the number of found objects in their yard. While Japanese glass fishing floats are the grand prize, there are lots of other treasures, along with the trash we drag off the beach. Clearly this woman was out early enough to score. She was heavily laden with the booty, and I thought about offering to help her, but opted to paint her instead.
