Description
This is the keyhole through the main rock off Ecola Point just north of Cannon Beach. I was taken with the depth and richness of the sunset hues and later painted this oil on canvas in my studio from photographs. The spindrift on the peak of the wave caught the light in the sky overhead at just the right moment and location completing the story of a nearly dark sunset at the ocean’s edge.
