I was headed home at the end of a beautiful day both hungry and exhausted when I noticed the last hues of sunset radiating in the evening sky. I turned west not wanting to miss it and recognized immediately the potential for a beautiful painting. The colors reflecting in the still tide pools were like ribbons and added to the sense of calm.
