Slowly Setting

Several times recently, as I walked down the trail on my way to the beach, these long blades of grass with seed heads stood out and I’d pause thinking “that would make a great watercolor”. A big part of my job is to pay attention to the special moments and when appropriate, record them as a painting. From time to time the simple things in life take their turn at the sublime.
