Still- Needles
As evening approached I began looking for the right place to enjoy the last few minutes of daylight. No surprise, I ended up down at the water’s edge. These slender basalt sea stacks are known as “The Needles” and though they are small compared to their neighbor (Haystack Rock) they are impressive just the same. As you walk closer, their size and the abundance of life that calls them home becomes evident.
